Gathering Israel Today

Isaiah and other prophets taught that Israel would be gathered in the last days. The mountain of the Lord’s house has reference to God’s temple where his covenants and ordiances can be administered to those who have been gathered.

Before the gathered of Israel can receive these temple blessings they will have to be taught the gospel and accept their Messiah, who is the Son of God, who is Jesus Christ; the first born in the spirit and the only begotten in the flesh, who lived and died to pay the price of sin for each of us.

To receive these priesthood ordinances they must be taught Christ’s gospel, by those in authority. Those administering these ordinances must be called and chosen as was Aaron; “by prophecy and by the laying on of hands, by those in authority to preach the gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof”.

Isaiah 2:2-4

² And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

³ And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

⁴ And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

¹⁴ And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

The gospel of Jesus Christ will be taught to every nation, kindred, tongue and people. All people will be taught the gospel on earth and in the afterlife before they are judged; “every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is the Christ”. God will not condem a man who has not had a chance to learn of Jesus Christ and his gospel.

Romans 4:15

“Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.”

The twelve tribes of Israel are Gods covenant people. They were in the old testament and they are today. The House of Joseph of the twelve tribes is called the “House of Adoption”. When you are baptised into Christ’s Church you are adopted into the House of Israel and are part of His covenant people by becoming members of the tribe of Joseph.

One good way to teach is through music. As God’s children hear music containing gospel principles the spirit can witness to them. It is our hope and prayer that all of the House of Israel can be gathered in these latter-days as is prophesied thoughout all of God’s scriptures.
